With an expanded mission within the Emergency Care Unit, we are now looking for someone who wants to further develop emergency care at SÄS!

About our open position

We are looking for a senior physician/specialist physician in emergency care.

You will become part of our team of 20 physicians who, in a good atmosphere, drive the development of emergency care. This is done through various processes, improvement projects, and regular training, both independently and in collaboration with other units. Our operations also include ambulance services, which provide excellent opportunities for collaboration and development of pre-hospital care. If you are interested, part of your working hours can be allocated to our Mobile Acute Physician Team (MALT), where you, together with a nurse, provide emergency care at home.

As a senior physician/specialist physician, you will have the opportunity to develop others through your responsibility to mentor, educate residents, and manage the daily operations of the unit.

The emergency physicians currently staff all days of the week from 7:30 AM to 9:30 PM.

About us

The Emergency Care Unit includes the emergency department and ambulance services. The emergency department at Södra Älvsborg Hospital in Borås is a large workplace with about 120 employees and approximately 60,000 visitors each year. We care for acutely ill patients in areas such as medicine, surgery, orthopedics, infection, and neurology.

Your profile

You who are applying have a Swedish medical license and a Swedish certificate of specialist competence in emergency care. You master the Swedish language at a minimum level of C1. We place great emphasis on your social skills and ability to collaborate.
